I just bought a car from this place on the 8th of December. I didn't come across any rudeness while trying to make a purchase, but it was quite a hassel to go to the dealership to fill out some paper work, and proceed to find out they didn't want to take my card because they lose out $75 on a $4000 car... Then I had to go all the way to Greece Ridge Mall to where there is a DMV open everyday in the area. Also, I had to go to Brockport because they were the closest place with my bank so I could withdraw the money to purchase the car, then I got back to the dealership to finally get my car and get to work (which I was already late for) but as I got in my car and pulling out I noticed that my Driver Side Mirror was cracked in half and later while driving I tried to move one of the heater vents to get it to blow the warm air on me, and it just fell through so I guess that was something they felt they didn't need to fix too. I am currently trying to get a hold of them to see if they will fix these things for me. If not, I may write another review and rate it only a 1-Star stating I hated it, and I will also try to report them to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and try to get the money I spent on gas going all over the place and the money I will spend to get these two items fixed back. Also, seems how there is another bad review, maybe get these guys out of business. I rather it not come to that, I hope they offer to fix the stuff wrong with the car free of charge, because no one deserves to lose their jobs because of something they have complete control over.
Loser man from pool auto sales. He wouldn't even take my car. I was looking at a couple cars and I asked if they can do trade-ins. The man asked what kind of car I have. He doesn't want my car. He didn't even ask whats wrong with it. Don't buy from these loser crooks. Don't even go there, they WILL reject you!!! Loser old man. I wish Google has the option to give a half star, or NO STARS!!!!!!! If you don't know, Pool Auto Sales moved to the same place where Auto Max is. 2571 Spencerport Rd, Spencerport, NY 14559.
My father drove all the way from Central NY.. over 2.5 hours after speaking with an employee the night before closing about a Red F150 they had there. The individual proceeded to talk up the truck and stated it was still there.
Bought a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Automax. I believe the guy who sold to me was named marlon he was a straightforward and everything he told me about the vehicles maintenance was true. Fair price for a really good Suv. I would recommend buying a vehicle from here again.
I would suggest not going to this place they like to screw over anyone.
The dealer stated on this date (1/8/14) that the car did not have a warranty. When purchasing the tire there was another individual there who was witness to the salesperson stating there was a warranty. The individual took the auto for a drive with the temporary tire. He drove the vehicle 55 miles per hour with the temporary tire on and stated there was nothing wrong with the transmission as it showed hesitation as it was between gears and then abruptly jerked into higher gears. He stated that was good and that this writer should worry when the vehicle did not shift gears. This writer stated that the car did not drive like this initially and were aware that transmission issues could temporarily be masked. He then stated after stating that nothing was wrong, this could be done by placing the vehicle in and out of reverse to free oneself from snow... a contradiction to nothing was wrong. He appeared to be intimidatinghe drove the vehicle fast with the temporary tire fast and had a condescending/rude tone. He contradicted himself multiple times.
Initially everything seemed great with the purchase of this used car 0n 12/13/14. The dealer stated that there was a 1,000 mile 30 day power train warranty which as a single woman is why I bought the car for a higher price from a dealership. After owning the car for less than two weeks, I was broken down for the first time. This problem was not properly fixed. I immediately noticed that there were issues with the transmission shifting and after driving for just over a week after getting the car back from the initial issue drove it a hour back to the dealership during which time I received a flat tire. After having a temporary tire placed on the vehicle I drove to the dealership.
CROOKS!!!
Upon returning home I took the car to have the tire replaced. I was told that 3 tires were balled and dangerous. Furthermore I was told the car NEVER should have passed inspection and that I could have been injured. I sent a registered letter to the dealership. These people are crooks and I have reported them to numerous places and am considering legal action. PLEASE be aware; beware!!!
After driving the 2.5 hours, we showed up to this dealership where the guy walks out and stated the truck was sold 2-3 days ago. After my dad told him he spoke to someone there last night about the F150 and the employee stated he was the only one there yesterday and took no phone calls.
